More infoThe SuCat project is based on catalysis and sustainable chemistry. The main objective is to provide expertise and knowledge on all declinations of catalysis (homogeneous, heterogeneous and enzymatic) and sustainable chemistry.
The European leadership in catalysis is progressively eroded for different reasons. One of them is the decrease of funds for fundamental research in many European countries, the lack of synergies and cohesion between research groups on catalysis. In high education level, there are many master degrees dedicated to one declination of catalysis, but there is no master degree that gathers knowledge on homogeneous, heterogeneous and enzymatic catalysis, to the best of our knowledge. Chemical industries are widely interested in recruiting persons who will have a mulitidisciplinary background.
